Tungsten Carbide and Steel Burs (B)
Ash Tungsten Carbide Burs are designed for high-speed applications, the stainless steel shanks allow repeated autoclaving without corrosion. Ash Steel Burs are heat treated to 750 on the Vickers hardness scale (enamel 300) to improve their cutting efficiency. The high quality Ash Rotaries are perfectly balanced to reduce vibration and prolong the life of the handpiece.

Tungsten Carbide Oral Surgery Burs
Designed for bone cutting at speeds of between 10,000rpm and 50,000rpm, Ash Oral Surgery Burs feature a throw-off ring to inhibit fluids entering the handpiece from the operating site, with extended shanks to give deep penetration with maximum visibility.
Additionally, the Tapered Fissure bur features a reverse twist to the blade flutes, to assist the passage of irrigation fluids to the bur tip. Oral surgery burs are available as R.A. and H.P.
